Overview of the Mailborder admin dashboard and key metrics.

Accessing Dashboard

URL: https://mailborder.example.com/

Login: Use administrator email and password

First login: Change default password immediately

Dashboard Layout

Navigation menu: - Dashboard (home) - Quarantine - Reports - Settings - Users - System

User menu (top-right): - Profile settings - Change password - 2FA setup - Logout

Main Sections

  1. System Status - Service health
  2. Email Statistics - Volume and filtering
  3. Recent Activity - Latest events
  4. Quick Actions - Common tasks
  5. Alerts - Warnings and notifications

System Status Panel

Shows: - All service statuses (green/yellow/red) - Resource usage (CPU, memory, disk) - Queue depth - Database connectivity

Color indicators: - 🟢 Green - Operating normally - 🟡 Yellow - Warning (high load, etc.) - 🔴 Red - Critical (service down, disk full)

Click service name for details.

Email Statistics

24-hour summary: - Total emails processed - Passed (delivered) - Quarantined (held for review) - Rejected (blocked)

Spam detection: - Spam caught (percentage) - Average spam score - False positive rate (estimated)

Virus detection: - Viruses found - Clean messages

Charts: - Email volume over time - Spam ratio trend - Top spam sources (by country)

Recent Activity

Shows last 20 events: - Quarantined emails - Virus detections - Failed login attempts - Configuration changes - System alerts

Click event for full details.

Quick Actions

Common tasks: - View quarantine - Release email - Add whitelist entry - Check spam score - View logs - Generate report

Click action to jump directly to that page.

Alerts Panel

Current alerts: - Disk space low - Queue backing up - Service degraded - Security events - Update available

Dismiss or acknowledge alerts.

Customization

Refresh Rate

Auto-refresh options: - Off (manual only) - 30 seconds - 1 minute (default) - 5 minutes

Setting: Dashboard → Settings → Refresh Rate

Widget Layout

Drag-and-drop panels to rearrange.

Hide/show panels: Settings → Dashboard Layout

Time Range

Statistics time range: - Last hour - Last 24 hours (default) - Last 7 days - Last 30 days - Custom range

Mobile View

Responsive design for mobile devices.

Simplified layout: - System status - Key metrics - Recent alerts - Quick access to quarantine
