Themes and Appearance¶

Customize the look and feel of the Mailborder admin interface.

Selecting Theme¶

Navigate: Profile → Appearance → Theme

Available themes: - Light - Default bright theme - Dark - Dark mode (OLED-friendly) - Auto - Follows system preference - High Contrast - Accessibility mode

Preview before applying.

Theme Features¶

Light Theme¶

Default interface: - White background - Dark text - Blue accents - Best for bright environments

Dark Theme¶

Dark mode: - Dark gray/black background - Light text - Blue accents (dimmed) - Reduces eye strain - Saves battery (OLED screens)

Auto Theme¶

System-aware: - Follows OS dark mode setting - Switches automatically - Respects user preference

High Contrast¶

Accessibility: - Maximum contrast - Larger text - Clear boundaries - WCAG AAA compliant

Customization¶

Profile → Appearance

Options: - Primary color - Accent color - Font size (small/normal/large) - Compact/comfortable spacing

Changes apply immediately (no page reload).

System-Wide Theme¶

Admin setting: Settings → Appearance → Default Theme

Sets default for: - New users - Login page - Public pages

Users can override with personal preference.
